Daisy Ridley is an actress who has been getting a lot of attention as of late. That may be surprising, given that she’s been in relatively few movies, but she has managed to find her way onto a few blockbusters – namely the latest Star Wars trilogy. And that’s enough to kickstart her career.

And it’s using Rotten Tomatoes metrics that we’re going to rank all of the movies that Daisy Ridley has been in (so far). So read on to find where your favorite movie falls on this list.
Movies With No Scores (Yet)
Before we dive into the ratings of all of Daisy Ridley’s movies, let’s first take a minute to talk about the three that have yet to be rated. We’re talking about Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Chaos Walking, and Scrawl.
We’re not going to count these in the ranking itself since we don’t know where they would fall. But that will change soon, with Star Wars: The Rise of the Skywalker releasing later this week.
Ophelia – 60%
Ophelia is without a doubt Daisy Ridley’s lowest ranking movie; it comes in at only 60%. Though it is worth noting that for once the audience and the critics seem to agree on that score (for now – who knows how long it will last?). Daisy Ridley played the iconic Ophelia in this role, which shows a retelling of Hamlet with a specific perspective.
That perspective, in case it wasn’t obvious, is on Ophelia. This is the tale of Ophelia, and how she has to decide where and how her loyalties lie. But it goes so much further than that, doesn’t it? Remakes and retellings are a hit or miss at the best of times, and apparently, according to the fans, this one was more of a miss. Sorry, Daisy Ridley and the rest of the crew!
Murder On the Orient Express – 60%
Next up on our list is Murder On the Orient Express, which is actually tied with Ophelia for the lowest ranking on Daisy Ridley’s movie list. Murder On the Orient Express is based on Agatha Christie’s much-beloved novel, and apparently, the movie make of it was not as widely loved by fans.
Set in Europe, this thriller is the story of thirteen strangers stuck on a train, surrounded by a murderer. Before they fall victim to this mysterious murderer, they must try and solve the case. Though that description hardly does Agatha Christie’s work much credit, apparently, the movie didn’t do much credit either, if the rating of 60% is anything to go by. Though there is a slight split decision here, with the Tomatometer coming in at 60%, and the audience rating coming in at only 53%.
Peter Rabbit – 64%
Peter Rabbit is next up on the list. Daisy Ridley lent her voice to the character known as Cottontail in order to bring this beloved children’s story to life. Peter Rabbit is another movie with a split decision. The Tomatometer has it marked as 64%, while the audience scored it at only 56%, so there’s a little bit of a discrepancy there.
Many fans of the story were conflicted about this remake, while others were excited. Regardless of how you felt about the movie as it was being made, it’s clear that the reception for this movie could have been bigger.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi – 91%
The second Star Wars movie that Daisy Ridley was in, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, is next up on our list. This is a movie that did very well, according to Rotten Tomatoes. The Tomatometer brings The Last Jedi in at 91%, while the audience has it marked at only 43%. That’s the biggest discrepancy so far.
The Last Jedi is the middle of the latest Star Wars trilogy, and it brought about it several changes that some fans either loved or hated. Daisy Ridley played one of the leading roles, Rey, and thus got a whole lot of screen time in this one.
Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens – 93%
Next up on the list is the first Star Wars movie that Daisy Ridley found herself in. We’re talking about Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This movie got a 93% according to the Tomatometer, and 86% by the audience. Now that’s a score closer to an agreement.
The Force Awakens begins an all-new trilogy in the Star Wars universe, one that brings classic and new characters together in a plot unlike any other. Adult Star Wars fans were able to bring their children to this movie, which is very sweetly full circle in many ways. This is the movie that debuted many characters, such as Rey (played by Daisy Ridley), Kylo Ren, Finn, and don’t forget BB-8.
The Eagle Huntress – 94%
The Eagle Huntress is a documentary that came out in 2016 and is narrated by Daisy Ridley. That makes it quite a bit different from the rest of the movies on this list. It has a whopping 94% according to the Tomatometer, and an 86% with the audience.
The Eagle Huntress is the tale of Aisholpan, a young girl training to be an eagle huntress – the first in her family in a long time. It features an awe-inspiring story along with breathtaking views, and is perhaps a documentary many of us could do with seeing. Especially if the Rotten Tomato rating has anything to say about it.
Only Yesterday – 100%
At the top of our list is Only Yesterday. Daisy Ridley was involved in the translation of this animated movie, lending the voice to Taeko. Taeko is a young woman living in Tokyo, who finds herself filled with memories and longing as she travels to the country.
Only Yesterday was given 100% by the Tomatometer, and an 83% by the audience, making it the highest-ranked movie on Daisy Ridley’s list (so far). We have no doubt that this list will change as she continues to appear in more movies. It’s safe to say that we are looking forward to those changes.
